Bride Flight <QUICK>

: Inspired by the 1953 "Last Great Air Race" from London to Christchurch, New Zealand. A KLM flight carried dozens of Dutch "war brides" traveling to join their fiancés who had already emigrated. The Film : Directed by Ben Sombogaart and released in 2008.

Instead of throwing rice, sparklers, or flower petals, guests fold the ceremony programs or custom paper into airplanes. As the bride and groom exit the venue, the guests launch the planes over them, creating a flurry of "well-wishes taking flight". 🛠� Execution & Logistics Bride Flight
