Excel 2016 upgraded data visualization capabilities by introducing six modern chart types—including Treemap, Waterfall, and Box & Whisker—designed for advanced statistical and financial analysis. The update also integrated robust mapping tools, such as 3D Maps and Filled Maps, alongside "Get & Transform" (Power Query) for enhanced self-service data manipulation.
