A vehicle qualifies if it has a nonconformity—a defect that —and meets one of the following criteria:
The defect must be reported within one year of the original delivery date or during the term of the manufacturer’s warranty, whichever ends sooner. 2. Qualifying as a "Lemon"
If the vehicle is deemed a lemon, the consumer has the right to choose between: A comparable and acceptable new vehicle.
The same problem has been subject to repair four or more times without success.
The vehicle has been out of service for a total of 30 or more calendar days due to repairs. 3. Consumer Remedies
