If you are planning to re-upload the downloaded .mp4 file, ensure it meets these standards for the best quality:
Play the Reel in full-screen and stop the recording once it finishes.
If your draft uses licensed music from Instagram’s library, the video may save without sound to comply with copyright rules.
Instagram has integrated features that allow you to save your own drafts or even other creators' public Reels directly to your gallery. Open the Instagram app and go to your Profile . Tap the Reels tab and select the Drafts folder.
If the creator has enabled downloads, you can save a public Reel by: Tapping the Paper Plane icon (Share) on the Reel. Looking for the Download button in the bottom menu.
