This remake of the Sega Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 includes features like a team system, super/hyper characters (Sonic and Tails), and new zones such as Oil Ocean and Time Hill.

Under Ground boss no longer kills the player upon exploding. Scrambled Egg boss no longer loses life from a spin dash. Oil Ocean boss can now be hit while in the air. Option to enable or disable the Air Jump.
