To rescue the team from a destabilizing cave, Dal recruits several Enderprizians to help man the Protostar . Hologram Janeway reconfigures the bridge to resemble the classic 23rd-century design to help the locals use the technology. The crew successfully synthesizes a cure and seals the cave, leaving the Enderprizians with medical supplies and the correct method for the Vulcan salute.
