Kayto Shields stood on the observation deck of the Sunrider, his gaze fixed on the swirling nebula outside. The war with PACT had taken everything from him — his home on Cera, his sense of peace, and many of the people he had once called friends. Yet, as the Captain of the most advanced prototype starship in the galaxy, he couldn't afford the luxury of grief.
The "Captain's Edition" of their journey had been a grueling one. From the tactical skirmishes in the Neutral Rim to the crushing realization that a spy was embedded within their own ranks, every victory had been paid for in blood and difficult choices.
