Thapelo Ea Holy Spirit | Ke Moeti 1987 May 2026

(often credited to the Holy Spirits Choir ) is a landmark South African gospel album released on January 19, 1987 , under the Teal Sound label. The project, produced and arranged by Joseph Dumako, remains a staple of African religious music, particularly within "Clap and Tap" and Zionist church traditions. The Anthem: "Ke Moeti"

: The lyrics acknowledge a difficult path— "Leha tsela e le bothateng" (Even if the path is difficult)—and the presence of spiritual enemies or darkness ( fifi ) that can cause one to falter. THAPELO EA HOLY SPIRIT | KE MOETI 1987

: The central refrain, "Ke moeti, ke le tseleng... Ke lebile hae" (I am a traveler, I am on the way... I am going home), establishes that believers are "strangers on this earth". (often credited to the Holy Spirits Choir )
